Netanyahu's Line in the Sand

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu drew a line in the sand with his speech to the United Nations. He sted his desire for peace, while making it clear that Israel will see no peace without security. This man is sticking his neck out for his people. He is reviled and hated by a great many world leaders, however, he remains steadfast in his leadership of Israel. His people should be proud to have a leader such as this.

This also raises an interesting scenario for our own President. He must make a decision as to which sode of this line he will stand. Will he join with Europe in their march toward anti-semitism. Quadaffi and Ahmadenijad are waiting; they are confident that they have our President right where thery want him. They believe that they have him in a position of weakness, a position that he, in their eyes, does not have the courage to surmount. President Obama must prove them wrong and stand with Israel.

We as a country must also decide where we are to stand on this line in the sand. Israel has always had a bond with our nation. The Jewish financiers of the Amercian Revolution

Mr. Negativity

The Democratic gubernatorial candidate Creigh Deeds cannot seem to hold back his nastiness. First, he fails to effectively articulate a plan of his own. So what does he do? He criticizes McDonnell for his pro-life beliefs.

Then he still fails to articulate a message. So what does he do? He attacks a thesis that McDonnell wrote twenty years ago. Deeds has been, perhaps, one the the most negative candidates in Virginia's history. Now thats a record he can be proud of!

Back to the Keyboard

I have again found myself extremely strapped for time on this blog, but now I am back posting on the current state of affairs.

The Campaign for Disney's America in Virginia got a boost when Disney announced their aquisition of Marvel, followed by an announcement that future aquisitions were possible. However, it appears that a bidding war could be in the works.

We have also seen President Obama desperately trying to sell his healthcare package that nobody really wants. He basically called Sarah Palin a lair in his speech to Congress a few days ago, only to get his feathers ruffled by Congressman Joe Wilson calling him a liar. Although Joe Wilson did break decorum by outbursting during a Presidential speech, he later apologized to the President. The New Nobility just can't let go of their pride and insist that Joe now apologize to them.

Mike Huckabee is still rocking Fox News on Saturday nights. Whether you personally support him or not, Huckabee has used his platform to shift public opinion.

Lastly, the McDonnell, Bolling, Cuccinelli ticket is running strong here in Virginia. Conservative principles at work; it works folks.
